What We Love About Our Home…129 Wren Ct., Copperhill, TN

The rigors of a long day of working or appointments or shopping — whatever the day might have brought — melts into peace and relaxation as we walk out to our 400 sq. ft. deck, enjoy a cool beverage, feel the gentle breeze of one or both of the ceiling fans, watch the hummingbirds play around the brightly colored feeders, check out the fish in the pond (yes, they can be seen from the deck as they cruise around!), and there’s even a good-sized turtle that makes an appearance now and again. Since we are about 60′ higher than the pond, and have engineered the proximity of the trees to the house, there are no bugs to bother us!

The rest of the house speaks for itself; its wide-open charm never ceases to amaze. The 1,024 sq. ft. detached garage (insulated, heated, 100 amp, 220 volt, plumbed air, 10 ft. ceiling, 1/2 bath, separate water heater & room for 3+ cars) keeps my husband occupied during his various projects. Separate guest quarters with A/C, wi-fi, cable, full bath & kitchenette sits above the garage and is great for afternoon naps! Also love the fully paved circular drive (yay, no gravel!).

It’s a country home in a secure gated community, with no visible neighbors, with city water & sewer, mail delivery at the house, garbage pick-up at the house, wi-fi and cable. There’s also a 3-row split rail, dog-proof fence around the backyard. The average electric bill has been around $170/mo., and I like it cool in the summer and warm in the winter! Oh yes, the fireplace keeps us cozy & warm during the winter months, too. There is so much more to appreciate, but you can see it a lot better if you see it in person!
